Paul identifies the hypocrisy of judging others. How can one judge others when they themselves are egregious sinners. It is one thing to rebuke, another to judge. Our lives should imitate the grace, mercy, kindness, patience, and forgiveness of Christ.

Motherhood is God's unique creation. Motherhood is not a cultural construct, rather the unique creation for God for specific purpose. Contrary to world opinion, a mother is not a birthing person. A mother is a woman created by God, in His image, as a helpmate for man.

When the answer is no we take offence. We think we know hat we need, when and how and we need it. However, the answer sometimes is no. Today we unpack how to respond to a no answer.

Paul writes of the great treasure of salvation and what it costs; For the cause of Christ we are:Afflicted but not crushed, Perplexed, but not driven to despair, Persecuted, but not forsaken, Struck down, but not destroyed. There is a purpose in what trials we face, the challenge is to push on and keep your eyes on Jesus.

The Gospel has been proclaimed and the gift of salvation has been accepted. What comes next, what I am to do? Jesus gives the blueprint of true discipleship, being changed into His image. Accepting the gift of salvation is the first step, real work with radical life change follows. This morning we unpack the blueprint and steps to becoming a true disciple of Jesus.

Last week we celebrated the resurrection of Jesus. Now we must respond to an alive Jesus. Not exhaustive, but four common responses to the alive Jesus; 1) Reject 2)Someday 3) Neither hot or cold 4) Treasure.. We must make a decision about the alive Jesus.

On Thursday before his crucifixion, Jesus told his disciples "...in a little while." "A little while," had now passed and the most significant event in human history had just happened. The tomb is empty, Jesus is alive. Many things are a result of the empty tomb. This morning we look at four: 1)Death no longer reigns 2)Life is for those who will believe - our sins forgiven 3)Jesus is alive and stands as our intercessor 4)Jesus is coming again…In a little while

During the closing of the Passion Week, Jesus tells his disciples, "A little while..,again a little while." Everything in humanity is about to change. Jesus is fulfilling his obedience to the Father, at the cross, which is "...power of God of salvation to everyone who believes."(Rom1:16). In telling his disciples of the cosmic change of everything; weeping, lamenting, sorrow...will give way to joy. For the Believer, "a little while" will soon give way to eternal glory with Jesus.
